an immediate opening for a Forensic Mechanical Engineer on a DIRECT HIRE
opportunity with a leading company in Worthington, Ohio.
Our client is a national leader in Product Testing, Failure Analysis and
Forensic Engineering, offering services to law firms, manufacturers, and
insurance companies. We are seeking a talented professional with
exceptional speaking, leadership, and client communication skills.
Job Responsibilities:
Investigate and analyze mechanical devices, products and designs
Conduct field investigations and perform forensic engineering &
failure/accident analysis on incidents involving all types of machinery,
guardings, warnings & labels, mechanical equipment and devices including
cranes, presses, pressure vessels and hydraulic, pneumatic systems, etc.
Conduct unbiased investigations for various clients
Responsible for retention and development of client relationships
Provide technical findings and conclusions in layman?s terms, both
verbally and in written reports
Support conclusions by appropriate testimony in legal proceedings
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational
workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal
networks; participating in professional societies
Position Requirements:
M.S Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (PhD preferred)
P.E. registration through testing or ability to attain quickly
Knowledge of machine design and mechanical systems
minimum of 10 years industry engineering experience
Strong writing and public speaking skills
Some flexibility with travel
