The Bynum Front Porch Friday Night Music Series is in full swing. This week we have The Zinc Kings who will bring their Piedmont brand of blues to the outdoor stage Friday night.
Up next we have Jule Brown on May 25.? No strangers to the Triangle, Jule Brown plays a modern version of Delta and Chicago blues with rock, soul, jazz and roots elements thrown in at times. As always, a hat is passed to compensate the performers but tickets aren?t required.? Shows run from 7 pm to 9 pm. Food vendors are on site to provide cool drinks and tasty treats.? This Friday, there will be a food drive for C.O.R.A.? by Bynum United Methodist Church?s G.L.O.W. Kids & Mission Possible Kids.? Everyone is encouraged to bring canned foods, boxed pastas and grains to fill the bin.
This Friday also marks the third week of Lane Watson?s photography as the Bynum Front Porch Artist in Residence (www.lanewatsonphotography.com) You can also follow his Bynum blog at www.thebackroadsstudio.com.
One more thing, from now until June 16th, each Friday night Bynum Front Porch will be selling $5 raffle tickets for a chance to win a Schwinn Aerostar 20? kid?s bike and a Performance Girls Raven 24? kid?s bike.?
