REPORT: Payroll Tax Cut Deal Near - Business Insider

Fox News is reporting that Republican sources say a deal to end the stalemate over the extension of the payroll tax is near.

House Republicans have refused to pass a two-month extension of the tax cut, calling on the Senate to return to Washington to continue negotiations. But that position has become increasingly untenable, as Speaker of the House John Boehner and his caucus has faced criticism even from fellow Republican lawmakers.
