Find Your Flow Fridays @ Windfall Dance Studio

Paula Chambers, the creator of The Hudsucker Posse Hoop Dance Team, is collaborating with Windfall Dance Studio to bring an exciting array of Hoop Dance classes for Fun and Fitness to the Bloomington community. Paula has extensive training in both hooping and dance techniques and will guide the class in both Core (on-body) and External (off-body) exercise. WonderLab to Host Area?s National Ham Radio Kids? Day

The WonderLab Museum is a local host site for the semiannual National Ham Radio Kids? Day. Come to WonderLab to make a new friend via this original wireless communication device. Special activities from 1:00 pm ? 4:30 pm include talking with other kids across the country using short-wave radio technology, filling out a ?QSL? postcard to mail to your new friend as confirmation of your short-wave radio chat, trying out Morse Code communication, and going on a scavenger hunt to locate radio-related exhibits throughout WonderLab. In addition, the museum will offer a workshop, Build Your Own Radio, from 2:00 pm ? 3:00 pm. Participants will learn about the physics of radio waves that power cell phones and other wireless electronics as they make a working FM radio to take home. For more info, click here.

Taste of Bloomington Volunteers Needed for Recycling Stations

The Taste of Bloomington, one of Bloomington?s biggest summer events, is going green! The Taste, held on Saturday, June 23, will bring together dozens of Bloomington?s best restaurants, local wineries and breweries, and live musical entertainment to create the perfect festival atmosphere at Showers Common, next door to Bloomington?s City Hall. For the first time, the Taste will have volunteer-staffed recycling stations to reduce the amount of waste generated. Volunteers are needed to staff these stations and guide event patrons in disposing of their waste. Volunteers should be at least 13 years old. For more information, click here.

Buskirk-Chumley Theater Volunteers Needed

Local dance studio, One Step Above Dance and Gymnastics Studio, presents a 20 Year Company Recital featuring the 2012 competition groups and alumni dancers June 22 ? 24 at 6:30 pm. Arts and Entertainment Workshop

The Indiana Arts Commission has partnered with Valparaiso University Graduate School to present an Arts & Entertainment Administration workshop on Friday, August 10, 2012. This professional developmental workshop features instruction from experts in the field and networking opportunities with international professionals who will participate in the workshop. The workshop is open to current professionals or anyone interested in learning more about arts and entertainment administration.
